Carys Hellewell is a painter working predominantly in oil paints, based in Gloucestershire where she was born and raised. It has always been her desire in life to be an artist and she began painting from a young age. In 2021, she undertook a Fine Art Degree part-time at Bath School of Art. Whilst navigating Fine Art studies and Motherhood, she has sharpened her skills with oil paints and developed her practice, inspired by romantic great JMW. Turner and his awe inspiring skill with light and colour. Her love of nature is reflected in dramatic skyscapes and gentle landscapes.
